Deco Haus is an Ohio based Interior Design business specializing in STR and MTR design.

I’m Ireland, the founder and creative director of Deco Haus Interiors. I design spaces with one clear goal in mind: helping short and mid term rental owners stand out and increase revenue through intentional design.

In 2022, I moved to Columbus from Dayton because of the rapidly growing short term rental market. Columbus offered far more opportunity to learn, observe, and fully immerse myself in the STR industry at a larger scale. 

Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible mentors, including Sarah Karakaian of the Thanks for Visiting Podcast. Her guidance helped shape how I approach STR design with strategy, intention, and a strong focus on the guest experience.

Safety is also a core value in my work. I hold my STR Safety Certification because thoughtful design should always go hand in hand with guest safety and peace of mind.

When I’m not designing, you’ll usually find me thrifting, traveling, or creating videography and UGC content. I'm inspired by unique spaces and thoughtful details, and I translate that inspiration directly into my work.
